Rooted Frameworks LLC is a place where education and faith meet—where growth is cultivated through connection, language, and intentional reflection.
Founded by Dr. Shawn Chang, this platform was created to inspire transformation in how we teach, lead, and live. Every framework, devotional, and resource here is designed to help others be rooted, present, and intentional—whether in the classroom, at home, or in the quiet spaces of the heart.
Rooted Frameworks was born from the belief that true growth happens beneath the surface. Just as healthy roots sustain the life of a tree, our inner life—our values, faith, and language—sustain our ability to serve and grow.

About the Founder
Meet Dr. Shawn Chang!
Dr. Shawn Chang is the founder of Rooted Frameworks and a visionary educator, coach, and leader with over 26 years of experience in special education, family systems, and leadership development. Born and raised in Wai‘anae, Hawai‘i, his story is one of resilience, faith, and a relentless pursuit of transformational impact.
As a newly conferred Doctor of Education, Dr. Chang’s research focused on early childhood language development and the systemic challenges educators face in supporting students with inadequate language skills. His work highlights the urgent need to reimagine education as a process of cultivation—one rooted in language, connection, and community.
Whether equipping educators to foster foundational communication skills, guiding fathers to lead their families with intention, or designing innovative frameworks for growth, Dr. Chang’s approach blends scholarship, lived experience, and deep spiritual conviction.
Through Rooted Frameworks, Dr. Chang inspires others to be rooted, present, and intentional—building strong foundations for thriving families, schools, and communities. His mission is both practical and prophetic: to cultivate lives of purpose, service, and lasting growth.
